MATONGO is grown by smallholder farmers near Matongo village in northern Burundi, then processed at the Bwayi Washing Station — a cooperative facility that's helped transform the region's coffee into some of the most sought-after beans on the specialty market. The washed process gives the beans their characteristic clarity: clean, bright, and precise.

Tasting notes: caramel, brown sugar, with a bright citrus finish.
