Born from conflict and immigration from Burundi, we share and uplift the richness of people and culture. Our values are trustworthiness, ambitious, generous, and fun. Everything begins at our kitchen in Baobab Fare since Detroit is our home.

 

Soko is an East African Market that shares and uplifts East African culture. There’s a stigma to the perception of African culture, and our market will showcase artists and products through creative and beautiful designs that represent our people. We want to introduce our home to our culture. And because people are asking for more, Baobab Fare is making more East African products!
